Join US for Carols by Candlelight
Please join us at 4:30 pm on Christmas Eve for an outdoor, socially-distanced service of carols and readings by candlelight. It is an ideal way to safely join with family and friends to celebrate Christmas. With fresh snow on the ground, Carols by Candlelight will be as beautiful as it is memorable.
Though people are welcomed to leave their cars and enjoy the event socially distanced, the celebration will be broadcast to the parking lot on 1200 AM on your car radio.
Consider bringing a flashlight so you can see the printed service in the dark. Additional lighting will be from ice lanterns contributed by participants. If you’d like to bring an ice lantern with you, you can find do-it-yourself directions here or here. If you have lanterns to lend to the celebration, please drop them off at the church by 3:00 pm on Christmas Eve.

The True Meaning of Christmas (Luke 2:8-11)
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
CAN’T JOIN US BUT HAVE A PRAYER CONCERN?
We know how busy the season is. If you can’t make it to St. Alban’s worship this Christmas, we would still like to pray for you if you have a special need.
